• Because people have become jealous of their neighbors and wish to steal homes that are nicer than what they own, God will punish them and exile them from our land.

• Hashem instructs Micha to stop prophesying because the nation is anyway not listening. (Rashi, Metsudos)

• The Navi continues to prophesize destruction because the nation has failed to listen to God’s word and keep His Torah.

• This perek ends with a prophecy of redemption, that in the times of Mashiach God will bring back His nation to Eretz Yisrael.

• The streets of Eretz Yisrael will once again be bustling with Hashem’s people.
