· With this we finish the three perakim of Nachum.

· This perek continues to relate the destruction of Ninveh, the capitol city of Ashur.

· The streets of Ninveh will be filled with blood and corpses.

· Bavel is going to rise against her.

· God is going to embarrass the people of Ninveh like a woman whose skirt gets pulled up over her head!

· Ninveh will be repulsive to anyone who sees her

· Ninveh will completely vanish, and won’t be remembered throughout history.

· She will be wounded so badly.

· All who see the downfall of Ninveh will celebrate.
