Yechezkel Perek 39

• Perek 39 is another prophecy about the war of Gog uMagog that will take place in the time of Mashiach.
• God is going to destroy Gog, and the place Magog will be set on fire.
• Yisrael will melt down by fire all of the weapons from Gog’s army for seven years.
• Gog and his armies will be buried in Eretz Yisrael, and the burial will take seven months. This will serve as a reminder for all the wondrous things God had done for the Jewish people. (Ramad Walli)
• Travelers will not be able to travel through the burial site due to the vast number of corpses that will be there. (Rashi)
• The birds and wild animals will have a triumphant feast on the corpses of Gog’s armies.
• On that day God will reveal His Glory to the world.
• Am Yisrael will return completely from exile.
• God will no longer hide His face from the Jewish people.
