Yechezkel Perek 29

• This perek is a prophecy against Egypt.

• Pharoh is compared to a sea monster who made himself into a god.

• Egypt will eventually be turned into desolate ruins.

• In due time God is going to send Bavel to fight against Egypt.

• Forty years after Egypt is destroyed its residents will be allowed to return. However, Egypt will not be as strong as it was originally.

• “On that day, I will cause the horn of Yishai to sprout, and all the nations of the world will know that I am God.”
