Yechezkel Perek 14

• The Elders of Yisrael came to speak with Yechezkel with evil intentions. (Malbim)

• Hashem will punish the false idolaters who follow their evil thoughts.

• Hashem will hold the false prophets personally accountable.

• Even if there were three people as righteous as Noach, Daniel and Iyov it would still be not be enough to protect Eretz Yisrael and Am Yisrael from being punished. Radak: These three people, despite their greatness, weren’t able to protect the people around them.

• Hashem is going to unleash four punishments on the nation and on Yerushalayim – sword, famine, wild beasts and plague.

• Hashem will allow a small number of survivors to remain, and they will do teshuva after seeing the greatness of God in all of the punishments that will occur.
