• The Plishtim went to war against King Shaul.

• Most of King Shaul’s men had fled for their lives.

• The Plishtim concentrated directly on King Shaul and his children.

• The Plishtim killed King Shaul’s 3 children: Avinadav, Malki-Shua and Yonason.

• King Shaul ordered his armor bearer to kill him. Armor bearer refused to kill the anointed one of Hashem.

• The Armor bearer than killed himself like King Shaul did.

• The Next day Plishtim had found King Shaul’s body. The Plishtim beheaded King Shaul and placed his head and armor in their house of Idol worship.

• The residents of Yavesh Gilad had herd what happened to King Shaul and rescued his body and armor in the nighttime.

• King Shaul was buried under a tree in Yavesh.

• The people fasted for 7 days.
