Shmuel I Perek 19

• Shaul tried to kill Dovid a 3rd time. Shaul made it look like an accident so it wouldn’t appear that it was from the king.

• Yonatan had great love for Dovid and advocated for Dovid to Shaul.

• Yonatan told Dovid the news that Shaul was at peace with Dovid.

• Shaul swore not to hunt Dovid (we will see several times when Shaul promises not go after Dovid but than seems to renege.)

• Dovid went to war and defeated the Plishtim for Shaul.

• Shaul again tried to kill Dovid by thrusting a spear at Dovid after Dovid played music for Shaul.

• Dovid escaped and ran away.

• Michal urged Dovid to escape that night and lowered Dovid down through the window.

• Michal made it look like Dovid was sleeping sick in bed by laying a mannequin in his bed.

• Michal explained to Shaul she had to trick her own Father because Dovid had threatened her life.

• Dovid ran to Shmuel.

• 3 sets of soldiers came on Shaul’s behalf to kill Dovid. Each set attained prophecy not to kill Dovid as Dovid was already anointed as the king.

• Shaul went to see what was happening and attained high levels of Prophecy the entire night.
