Yeshaya Perek 52

• This perek is a prophecy about Mashiach.

• The Holy city of Tzion will “get dressed” in its finest attire to greet the redemption.

• Impure people will no longer fill the streets of Yerushalayim.

• Yeshaya encouraged the nation to shake off the dust of mourning and take part in the final redemption.

• Am Yisrael was persecuted by the nations of the world for seemingly no reason. Therefore Hashem will not need a reason to redeem His people, as His love for the Jewish nation is intrinsic and beyond logic.

• The world sees that Hashem has not left the Jewish people to suffer in exile.

• Yisrael will gain stature in the eyes of the world by returning to Eretz Yisrael.

• Hashem will raise His servant Yisrael from his downtrodden state. This will leave the nations of the world speechless.
