• King Merodach Baladon of Bavel sent gifts to Chizkiyahu after hearing about his miraculous healing.

• Chizkiyahu gave the Babylonian emissaries a grand tour of the Beis Hamikdash, including its treasures.

• Yeshaya prophesied to Chizkiyahu that his family would be punished and the Beis Hamikdash would be looted after Chizkiyahu’s lifetime.

• Chizkiyahu accepted the bad news, while affirming his faith in Hashem’s goodness.
