Yeshaya Perek 2

• This perek primarily discusses what will happen in the time of Mashiach and how Hashem’s greatness will be seen by the entire world, in contrast to the pettiness of the nations of the world.

• The Beis Hamikdash will stand prominently above the mountains and the entire world will come to learn torah there.

• From Zion will the torah come forth.

• No weapons will be needed in the times of Mashiach, as weapons of mass destruction will be rendered useless.

• Yeshaya encouraged Yisrael to live with the “light” of Hashem and walk with Hashem.

• Yeshaya described how “Hashem will stand alone” on the ultimate day of judgment, as the nations of the world will hide in caves, tunnels and bunkers from fear of Hashem.
