Yirmiya Perek 14

There will a drought throughout Eretz Yisrael.

The drought will cause devastation to the land and to its residents.

Yirmiya prays on behalf of Am Yisrael: “Hashem, Who saves the nation in their time of trouble, why have You estranged Yourself from the nation?”

But Hashem was disgusted with Klal Yisrael.

“Why does the nation continue to listen to the false prophets?

“The false prophets speak in My name, but I didn’t send them!”

Despite Yisrael’s actions, Hashem still cares deeply about them.

“My eyes will flow like tears, day and night”

Yisrael’s prayer to Hashem: “Have You completely rejected us? For the sake of Your name and Your throne, save us!”
