Yirmiya Perek 28

Chananya ben Azur, a false prophet, related a false prophecy in front of the Beis Hamikdash: “Hashem is going to save you from Nevuchadnetzar! Hashem is going to return King Yehoyachin from exile.”

Yirmiya responded: “Amen, may Hashem listen to your words.” Yirmiya then related that Chananya would be punished for his false prophecy. Metsudos says that Yirmiya said “Amen” in a sarcastic, mocking voice.

Chananya then broke the yoke that Yirmiya was wearing.

Hashem told Yirmiya that Chananya would die within the year for doing that, and that is what happened.

Chananya died within the year.
