Yirmiya Perek 50

Perek 50 describes the destruction of Bavel.

Hashem will send the nations of Paras Umadai to defeat Bavel.

Yisrael and Yehuda will unite to return and support each other in serving Hashem.

Am Yisrael will seek the fastest path back to Eretz Yisrael. (Radak: this is a reference to the times of Mashiach.)

Am Yisrael is compared to Hashem’s flock of sheep who were chased from place to place throughout the exile.

Bavel will be defeated, destroyed, and demolished.

In the times of Mashiach, Hashem will forgive all the sins of Am Yisrael.

Hashem will unleash His vengeance on Bavel, as He did on S’dom and Gemorah.
