Hoshea Perek 14.

This is the last perek of Hoshea. Although the Trey Asar books are significantly smaller in size compared the rest of Neviim, no matter how small or insignificant the accomplishment may seem, they are still worthy of celebration. We often throw our “little” mitzvos in the garbage and fail to appreciate the value in every little bit of Torah and avodah that we accomplish. Even though Hoshea is only fourteen perakim, even a hair’s breadth of movement to come closer to Hashem is a lofty and amazing accomplishment that’s worthy of celebration and dancing. We will be moving forward in Trey Asar and start Yoel, which is only four perakim, in the next shiur.

• This perek is a call for Yisrael to do teshuva.

• All God wants is for you to come close to Him!

• Return to God!

• “Take words with you and return to God.”

• True healing only comes for Hashem!

• “I am no longer angry at Yisrael!”

• If the nation does teshuvah they will receive a tremendous amount of blessing.

• God doesn’t need your sacrifices.

• “God’s ways are totally straight.”
