Hoshea Perek 3

Note: Most meforshim learn that Hoshea saw this in a prophetic vision and did not actually do this.

• God commanded Hoshea to have children with an adulterous woman.

• God compared His relationship to the Jewish nation to that of a man whose wife repeatedly cheated on him.

• Yisrael’s idol- worship is tantamount to “cheating” on God.

• At the end of the final redemption Yisrael will do teshuvah and God will ultimately take His nation back.
