Kings of Yisrael so far: Yeravam, Nadav, Ba’asha, Eilah, Zimri, Tivni, Omri, Achav, Achazyah, Yehoram, Yeihu, Yeho’achaz, Yeho’ash, Yeravam the second, Zecharyah, Shallum, Menachem, Pekachyah, Hoshea.

Kings of Yehudah so far: Rechavam, Aviyam, Assa, Yehoshaphat, Yehoram, Achazya, Asalyah, Yo’ash, Amatzyah, Azarya (Uzziah), Yosam, Achaz.

Azaryah, son of Amatzah (also known as Uzziah), at age sixteen, reigned twenty two years over Yehudah.

Azarya was basically righteous, but he failed to remove the private altars for worship.

Azaryah was struck with leprosy and lived outside the kingdom in a more secluded area. (Rashi, Radak – Azaryah contracted leprosy because he tried to offer incense in the Beis Hamikdash, a job that only a Kohen is fit to do.)

Azaryah died and was buried in the City of Dovid.

Yosam, son of Azaryah, reigned over Yehudah for sixteen years.

Zecharyah, son of Yeravam, reigned over Yisrael for six months. He perpetuated evil in Yisrael.

Shallum, son of Yavesh , at age thirty nine, killed Zecharyah, and reigned over Yisrael for one month.

Menachem, son of Gadi, killed Shallum and reigned over Yisrael ten years.

Ful, King of Ashur attacked Yisrael. Menachem paid large sums of money to Ful to stop the attacks.

Pekachyah, son of Menachem, reigned over Yisrael two years.

Pekachyah was killed by his captain, Pekach, who ruled over Yisrael twenty years.

Tiglas Pileser, king of Ashur, exiled the tribe of Naftali from Eretz Yisrael.

Yosam, king of Yehudah, died. Achaz, son of Yosam, ruled over Yehudah next.
