• After Dovid fled from King Achash, Dovid arrives at the cave of Adullem.

• Dovid’s family joined Dovid as they were in danger from King Shaul as well.

• 400 broken spirited men came to join Dovid.

• Dovid dropped his family off at King Moav thinking Moav would be a safe place because Yishai was a descended of Ruth a Moav princess.

• Shaul rallied his troops for support and loyalty in Givah.

• Doeg Ha’adomi related to Shaul: Achimelech is in collusions with Dovid, because Achimelech gave bread and the sword of Goliath to Dovid.

• Achimelech defended himself and Dovid. Achimelech seemed to be unaware of the events that transpired between Dovid and King Shaul.

• King Shaul order his men to kill the Kohanim and wipe out the city of Nov.

• Shaul’s men wouldn’t dare to kill the Kohanim of Hashem and refused.

• Doeg Ha’adomi was charged with the order of killing the Achimelech and the Kohanim.

• Doeg Ha’adomi killed 85 Kohanim and massacred the city of Nov.

• Avyasar the son of Achimelech escaped to Dovid and told Dovid what had happened.

• Dovid took full responsibility for the massacre of Nov and invited Avyasar to stay with him as Avyasar’s life was in danger as well.
