• Dovid saved the town of Ke’ilah from the Plishtim.

• Ke’ilah was a walled and gated city located in the territory of Yehudah and Dovid was compelled to save members of his fellow tribe.

• Dovid has asked the Urim V’tumim before fighting against the Plishtim and saving the town of Ke’ilah.

• King Shaul had understood Dovid being in the walled city of Ke’ilah would be his opportunity to finally kill Dovid.

• Dovid had Avyasar the Kohen ask Hashem whether it was better stay in Ke’ilah or to flee in fear the residents may hand him over to King Shaul.

• Dovid and 600 men escaped Ke’ilah before Shaul had shown up and was able to attack them.

• Dovid fled to the mountains of Ziph.

• Yonason secretly visited Dovid in the nighttime and encouraged Dovid to stay string in the light of King Shaul chasing Dovid.

• The people of Ziph tried to hand Dovid over to King Shaul for a second time.

• King Shaul had the people of Ziph scout out exactly were Dovid would be located.

Dovid was a master of deception and had many hiding spots making him difficult to be located.

• King Shaul had finally located Dovid and was about to attack Dovid.

• As King Shaul approached Dovid King Shaul was notified the Plishtim were attacking the rest of Eretz Yisroel.

• King Shaul chose to return home instead and protect the national security of Yisroel instead of killing Dovid.

• Once again Dovid had escaped King Shaul.
