• Dovid was accepted as the king of all of Yisrael.

• Dovid ruled for a total of 40 years – 7 ½ years over Yehudah and 33 years over both Yisrael and Yehudah.

• Dovid and his men defeated the Yevusi in Yerushalayim.

• Dovid built the City of Dovid and a fortress in which to live.

• Cherem, the king of Tsur, sent Dovid some cedar wood and some carpenters to assist Dovid in building his palace.

• Dovid finally understood that Hashem had made his kingdom great for the sake of Yisrael.

• Dovid had many children with his concubines and wives in Yerushalayim.

• Dovid defended himself twice against the Plishtim.

• Dovid defeated the Plishtim.
