May we all merit to witness the final geulah about which Yeshaya prophesied, with the coming of the Mashiach. “ They will do no harm nor damage anywhere on My Holy Mount, for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of God, as waters cover the sea .” (Yeshaya 11:9)

• The Navi opens with Hashem relating: “Ultimately what can you, mortal man, give Me?”

• Hashem particularly enjoys a humble person who fears His word.

• Hashem does not need Yisrael’s insincere worship and sacrifices.

• Bringing a sacrifice without proper intentions is tantamount to murdering an animal for no reason.

• No one listened to Hashem.

• The era of Mashiach is compared to Eretz Yisrael giving birth. Initially there will be a small amount of birth pangs, but Eretz Yisrael will bear children quickly. (Radak)

• The mourners of Yerushalayim will be happy when Yerushalayim will be rebuilt.

• The wicked will be punished.

• “At every new moon and every Shabbos all flesh will come and bow down before Me,” says God.
