Yeshaya Perek 11

Note: this is one of the most famous prophecies of Yeshaya. This is just a recording of the pesukim.

• A branch from the roots of King Dovid will sprout forth as the Mashiach.

• Mashiach will be filled with the “spirit of Hashem”.

• Mashiach will be a man of great wisdom, insight, knowledge, strength and fear of Heaven.

• Peace will permeate the entire creation and will even spread to the animal kingdom. The wolf will lay down with the lamb, and the leopard with the goat.

• The knowledge of Hashem will fill the world like waters that cover the earth.

• It will be on that day that the whole world will recognize Mashiach as sign of Hashem. They will seek out Mashiach to learn from his wisdom.

• There will be an ingathering of the exiles to Eretz Yisrael.

• Bnei Yisrael will unify against their enemies in the west.

• Hashem will again split certain bodies of water as He did in Egypt, and Yisrael will cross into Eretz Yisrael on dry land.
