Yeshaya Perek 16

• This is the second prophecy in Sefer Yeshaya which discusses the destruction of Moav.

• Sancheriv will destroy Moav.

• In the middle of the night Sancheriv will take out two of Moav’s main cities.

• Moav will cry to their false god, Divon.

• The people of Moav will be left devastated, with their beards shaven and no hair left on their heads.

• The residents of Moav will die because their waters will be filled with blood. The remaining people will be eaten by lions.
