• Yeshaya continues to criticize the ten tribes of Yisrael for trusting in their diplomacy with Egypt for protection, and not in Hashem.

• Egyptians are no more than people who have no power of their own. They are not Hashem!

• Hashem will ultimately save Am Yisrael and Yerushalayim. Just as a bird hovers over its nest, so, too, does Hashem hover over Am Yisrael.

• Yeshaya urges the ten tribes of Yisrael to do teshuvah.

• Sancheriv’s army will be burnt up by the fire that will emanate from Tzion.
