Yeshaya Perek 43

• This perek is primarily a prophecy about Mashiach. Radak learns that this prophecy refers to Sancheriv.

• Note: The pesukim themselves are amazing, as they show Hashem’s great intrinsic love for the Jewish nation.

• Hashem who created Yaakov says, “Do not fear; you are Mine.

• “Do not fear. I will save you from all sorts of devastation and natural disasters.

• “I, Hashem, love Yisrael!”

• There will be an ingathering of exiles from the four corners of the earth.

• Yisrael will bear witness to Hashem’s greatness.

• “I am Hashem, there is no savior other than Me.

• “Haven’t you heard? I will do something completely new and wondrous in the world!”

• Hashem will wipe away all the sins of Yisrael, not because of anything that Yisrael has done, but because the power to cleanse comes solely from Hashem.
