• This perek primarily relates the love that Hashem has for Am Yisrael.

• “Yisrael is My nation, as I have chosen them over all of the nations of the world.”

• Hashem is constantly looking out for the best interests of Am Yisrael and therefore there is no reason to be scared.

• Idols will never help anyone, even though people primarily serve idols for their own selfish gains.

• An idolater doesn’t even stop to think what it is that he is serving!

• Hashem will ultimately redeem Am Yisrael.
