Yeshaya Perek 4

• This Perek starts with a continuation of the previous perek about how Hashem will make all the immodest, immoral women “ugly”. There will be so many men killed that seven women at a time will vie for one man’s hand in marriage, even if that man does not have sufficient finances to support all of them. (Radak)

• When Mashiach will come, (Metsudos) on that day Hashem will shine in all His glory. Hashem will make fruit sprout and grow for the remaining people in Yerushalayim.

• All of the remaining people will be called “holy” because they decided to stay in Yerushalayim and settle the land. (Rashi)

• Hashem will clean the blood from the streets of Yerushalayim.

• Hashem will create a “sukkah” to protect the nation from impeding negative forces.
