Yeshaya Perek 58

• Yeshaya urges the nation to do teshuvah.

• Don’t hold yourselves back from crying out to Hashem with all of your strength.

• You, Yisrael, don’t keep the fast days in a sincere way. You just go through the motions without emotions.

• You need to feed the hungry and clothe the poor.

• When you do, Hashem’s light will shine down on you.

• Hashem will make Yisrael flourish like a seed in a garden.

• Give the utmost respect to Shabbos, by keeping it separate from the other days of the week. Dress differently, speak differently and eat delicious food.

• When you rejoice in the Shabbos, Hashem will rejoice in you.
