• Yisrael’s sins have caused God’s presence to be distanced from this world.

• People no longer call out to Hashem in truth.

• Yisrael hatched plans that caused further evil in the world.

• Their ways were crooked and filled with lies.

• Yisrael admitted to their wrongdoings against Hashem.

• Lack of honesty was pervasive throughout the generation.

• God understood that there was no one else to stick up for Yisrael, so He did so.

• He will strike fear in Yisrael’s enemies and cause them to flee.

• Mashiach will come from Tzion.

• Yisrael will do teshuvah.

• Hashem cut an eternal treaty with Yisrael.
