  • Violence will cease in Erets Yisrael.

  • The sun will be unnecessary as Hashems light will be unveiled.

  • “Your people are all righteous and will inherit Eretz Yisrael forever.”

  • Yeshaya Perek 61

  • Yeshaya shares that Hashem has sent him prophecies of comfort to strengthen the hearts of the Jewish nation.

  • Yeshaya relates the words sent to him are not his own, personal thoughts. Rather, they were given to him directly by Hashem.

  • The ruins of Eretz Yisrael will be rebuilt.

  • The nations of the world will honor Yisrael.

  • Am Yisrael will be recognized as a divine nation.

  • Just as a seed disintegrates in the ground before it starts to grow, so, too, will Yisrael grow through the process of galus and geulah. Yisrael will first become despondent throughout the thousands of years of exile, and then finally begin to flourish and grow. (Radak).
