Yeshaya Perek 62

• This perek is a prophecy about how Eretz Yisrael will be remembered, rebuilt, and restored.

• For the sake of Tzion, Hashem will not be quiet .

• Hashem will not have internal peace until His light will shine forth to help Tzion. (Radak)

• Hashem will rejoice with Tzion like a groom with a bride.

• The relationship between Am Yisrael and Eretz Yisrael is that of a bride and groom. Eretz Yisrael has no “mate” until Am Yisrael returns to her soil.

• Hashem appointed a watchman over Yerushalayim.

• Yisrael will be redeemed and will be called a holy nation.
