Yeshaya Perek 9

• Yeshaya declared that the people of Yisrael, who walk in darkness, would be the ones to walk with the great light of Hashem.

• Yeshaya related that Sancheriv did not engage in warfare against Yehudah due to its wondrous, amazing King Chizkiyahu.

• The Northern Kingdom of the ten tribes of Yisrael would finally realize that it was too late. The damage done to their cities and infrastructure was permanent, because Hashem’s fury had not subsided.

• Hashem would strike down the people who had not tried to do teshuvah.

• The older and younger generations were filled with hypocrisy and double standards. Their evil had not gone unnoticed by Hashem

• The nation no longer had compassion or empathy for one another. The physical conditions would get so bad that people would start to eat human flesh, all because there was no unity amongst Yisrael.
