Yirmiya Perek 16

Hashem told Yirmiya not to get married and have children. (Note: for further understanding listen to the NachDaily Audio.)

The suffering will be so great that children will die and no one will mourn them.

Corpses will be eaten by wild animals.

No one will be available to comfort the mourners.

Hashem says: “I have abandoned you because you abandoned Me and did not keep My Torah!”

There will be an ingathering of the exile.

Hashem will one day return Am Yisrael to Eretz Yisrael. Note: we are literally witnessing this taking place right in front of our own eyes!

Hashem will continue to punish the nation.

The nations of the world will ultimately see that the God of Yisrael is the true God.
