Yirmiya Perek 21

King Tzidkiyahu sent messengers to Yirmiya inquiring if God would send a miracle to save them from the approaching army of Nevuchadnezzar.

Yirmiya related through prophecy that the residents of Yehudah would die a terrible death. However, Hashem would allow a small number of people to remain alive.

Hashem has placed before the nation the path of life and the path of death. It’s for them to choose which path they wish to travel.

The remaining people in the city of Yerushalayim will die by sword, famine or plague.

Hashem wants the House of Dovid to judge with justice. If not, His fury will burn.
