Yirmiya Perek 30

Note: Some of these prophecies take little imagination to understand. Part of them have already begun to take place, as Jews from all over the world continue to return to Eretz Yisrael. We are truly living in amazing times!

Yirmiya was commanded to write down the following prophecy for the generation of Mashiach. (Radak):

Hashem will return His people to Eretz Yisrael from across the globe.

The Jewish nation will take possession of their land.

People will be gripped by fear in the times of Mashiach.

“Woe for this great day because there is no day like it!

“On that day you will be completely free from exile and enslavement.”

King Dovid will rise during to Techiyas Hameisim to be the king over Yisrael. According to Radak, perhaps it will actually be King Dovid, or perhaps it will be a descendant of King Dovid.

Hashem will completely heal even the most serious wounds with which Yisrael was inflicted during the long exile.

Eretz Yisrael will be restored to a more beautiful state than it was in originally. (Note: The buildings and apartments in Eretz Yisrael are surely nicer now than they were in the times of Yirmiya, 2,000 years ago!)

Children will play in the streets of Eretz Yisrael.

The nation will have a king.

Hashem will pour out his wrath on the wicked.
