Yirmiya Perek 48

This perek describes the downfall and destruction of Moav.

The Navi lists approximately ten cities in Moav which are going to be destroyed.

Note: Moav and Am Yisrael have a long history dating back to the days of Lot. (Listen to NachDaily Audio for further information.)

Devastation will strike Moav.

Moav’s cities will be abandoned and left in ruins.

However, in the end, Hashem will leave His judgment against Moav and restore their infrastructure. (Radak: this is a reference to the times of Mashiach).
